Ariel de Balkan

Ariel de Balkan is a music producer, singer and songwriter from Northern Greece. Her vision is to create music that resonates with people and that speaks to the heart. She started playing the piano from an early age and later on she learned to play the accordion too. As a teenager she discovered her passion for writing lyrics and composing songs. When she moved to Athens in 2019 she walked into a very unique music scene. She started busking with her guitar under the Acropolis to get familiar with performing in front of people. Later on she started learning music production, which ended up being her biggest passion. She has produced, written, recorded and released two songs so far. The first one "Why we here" was released on her 26th birthday, August 10th 2023 and the second one "What you talking about" was released 2 months later. Her favourite thing is to create synth sounds that resemble the feeling of being under the sea. Being inspired by Bregovic' music, she wants to produce projects with brass instruments in the future and to explore more of her Balkan roots.
